Sandrine, Thu-Thao Llouquet is a French-Vietnamese visual artist, born and raised in France. She obtained a Fine Arts degree (DNSEP) in 1999 after studying for five years at the National Superior Fine Art School of Nice (Villa Arson, Nice, France). Her work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Asia, Europe, and the US, including Singapore Biennale, Shenzhen Biennale, Kenpoku Art (Japan), Ke Art Center (Shanghai), ARKO (Seoul), VCCA (Hanoi), Palais de Tokyo (Paris), Le Point Commun (Annecy), Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (San Francisco), The Mistake Room (Los Angeles), etc.

The “Crit”, or critical review of artwork is one of the most enriching and important parts of any artist’s education. The participants/students will prepare a piece of finished artwork or work in progress, or a series of works and present it. He/she will have to explain what his/her work is about, the background of his/her investigation, and the choice of technique/material. The teacher together with the other participants/students will give feedback, advice, and references that will help each participant to develop his/work further.
